Terms of service
Last updated: October 2026
1. The service
ecert.digital lets institutes design, issue, deliver and verify certificates. Institutes are the issuers of every certificate. ecert.digital does not certify, accredit or endorse any institute, course or certificate holder.
2. Your account
You must give accurate details about your institute and keep your login secure. You are responsible for everything issued from your account, including by staff you invite.
3. Acceptable use
Only issue certificates for courses your institute actually ran, to people who actually completed them. Do not impersonate another institute, issue misleading certificates, or upload data you have no right to use. We may suspend an account while we look into a report. While suspended, its certificates show "Issuer under review".
4. Plans and credits
Each certificate issued uses one credit. Free accounts get 100 credits a year. Pro accounts get 10,000 credits for each paid year, and the Pro balance is capped at 20,000. If Pro is not renewed, the account returns to Free and unused Pro credits are frozen until renewal. Corrections within 7 days of issue are free.
5. Payment
Pro is paid yearly in advance by UPI or another method we accept. Prices include GST where it applies. The founding price is available to the first 200 paying institutes in India and stays the same for as long as the plan is renewed without a gap.
6. Availability
We aim to keep verification available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Certificates you issued remain verifiable even if you stop paying.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will tell account owners by email about material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Contact: support@ecert.digital.
