They scan the QR code or enter the certificate ID at ecert.digital/verify. The page shows the holder, course, dates, status and your organisation. No account or app needed.

The verify page shows it at once: "Revoked on (date) by issuer" or "Expired on (date)". An old copy can no longer pass as current.

Your account goes back to Free. Unused Pro certificates are kept frozen until you renew, and every certificate you issued stays verifiable.

Yes. Unused certificates carry over to the next year: without limit on Free, and up to 20,000 on Pro.

No. Pro includes staff logins with admin, issuer and viewer roles at no extra cost.

Certificate files are private and only reachable through signed links, and are deleted from our servers after 3 days. Verify pages show only what an employer needs and are hidden from search engines.
