School certificates that parents keep and colleges can check

Merit lists, competitions, clubs and holiday courses all end with certificates. Make them once from a spreadsheet, email them to families, and let colleges check them with a scan.

The problem

Printing and signing take days

Certificates for a whole year group mean typing names into a template, printing, signing and handing out — and reprinting when a name is wrong.

Lost certificates mean office visits

Families come back years later asking for a copy for an application. Finding the record and reissuing takes staff time.

Colleges cannot easily check achievements

An application may list a prize or a course, but the college has no quick way to confirm it was really awarded.

How it works

  1. Upload the school's certificate design and place the student's name, the award or event and the date.

  2. Export the list from your spreadsheet or school system as a CSV and upload it. Each row is checked first.

  3. Each family receives the certificate by email as a PDF and a JPG, with a link to keep.

  4. A college or scholarship panel scans the QR code to see the award, the date and your school as the issuer.

From prize list to inbox in one afternoon

Most schools already keep their lists in a spreadsheet. Upload it, check that the columns match (common names such as Name and Email are matched automatically), and eCert.Digital makes every certificate with your design. If a row has a problem — a blank name, an email without an ending like .com — it is listed in plain words so you can fix it before anything is sent.

A copy whenever a family needs one

Download links work for three days, after which the files are deleted from our servers. The record stays, though: if their email address was on the list, the recipient can ask for a fresh copy from the verify page. Nobody needs to come to the office.

The Free plan includes 100 certificates every year, and unused ones carry over. Larger schools and school groups can move to Pro for 10,000 a year and staff logins for each teacher who issues.

Questions

No. The certificate arrives by email with download links, and anyone can check it with the QR code or the certificate ID.
